FY2020-2024 Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing

The Municipality of Penn Hills is an entitlement community under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). In accordance with the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, each entitlement community must “affirmatively further fair housing.” In order to demonstrate that an entitlement community is “affirmatively furthering fair housing,” it must complete an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice which identifies any barriers to fair housing choice and what steps it will take to address the identified barriers and impediments.  Copies of the DRAFT are available at the Planning Department or it can be mailed to you upon request.  The date of the public hearing has yet to be determined.
