4th Annual Tips for Cops

The Penn Hills Police Department is hosting a Fundraiser Event that will benefit the Local Community Food Banks at Mohan’s Restaurant on Tuesday, February 18th 2020. All tips given to off duty police officers serving as waiters/waitresses, 10% of all food sales during the event, all money raised by the Chinese Auctions and the 50/50 raffles will be donated to the food bank.

Please come and join us for 50/50 raffles and Chinese Auctions baskets which have been donated by local businesses! have some fun with your Penn Hills Police men & women while helping to contribute to those in need!

Notice – Lien Letter Price Increase

Effective January 31st 2020, the price of Penn Hills Municipal No Lien Letters will increase from $15 to $25

Please note that any Municipal No Lien Letter request(s) that do not include the $25 payment will be returned and that will delay your processing time.

Processing time for all municipal No Lien Letters is 7 to 10 days from date of receipt.

2020-2024 Capital Program Highlights

We are pleased to present the Five Year Capital Program for 2020-2024.  The intent is that Council adopt long range plans and objectives to provide orderly growth of the Municipality.  The Capital Program illustrates capital expenses proposed by each department over the next five years.  Once adopted by Mayor and Council, 2020 expenses will be funded and future years 2021-2024 will remain proposed for discussion and adoption in the future as funds become available.

2019 Side Yard and Blighted Structure Program (Vacant Property Recovery)

For a limited time only, Allegheny County will be accepting applications to acquire vacant properties in 47 municipalities at reduced cost to the applicant. The Allegheny County Vacant Property Recovery Program (AVPRP) acquires blighted, tax delinquent properties and resells them to applicants for a reuse outlined in their application and approved by the municipality.

SBA Assistance for Flooding

KDKA did a story on the U.S. Small Business Administration offering low interest loans to Residents and Businesses that had flood damage from the storms that we had on July 21 – 22.  The US SBA declared the storm a disaster and now are able to offer the low interest loans.
