We are pleased to present the Five Year Capital Program for 2020-2024. The intent is that Council adopt long range plans and objectives to provide orderly growth of the Municipality. The Capital Program illustrates capital expenses proposed by each department over the next five years. Once adopted by Mayor and Council, 2020 expenses will be funded and future years 2021-2024 will remain proposed for discussion and adoption in the future as funds become available.
For a limited time only, Allegheny County will be accepting applications to acquire vacant properties in 47 municipalities at reduced cost to the applicant. The Allegheny County Vacant Property Recovery Program (AVPRP) acquires blighted, tax delinquent properties and resells them to applicants for a reuse outlined in their application and approved by the municipality.
KDKA did a story on the U.S. Small Business Administration offering low interest loans to Residents and Businesses that had flood damage from the storms that we had on July 21 – 22. The US SBA declared the storm a disaster and now are able to offer the low interest loans.
